Job Description:
As an Applications Analyst II at Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC, you'll lead in refining, implementing, and supporting software solutions to boost user experience and operational efficiency. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, analyze requirements, design software solutions, and provide technical support. Additionally, you'll understand business processes, act as a subject matter expert for application changes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties:
- Participate in new software system projects providing technical support and consultation.
- Analyze software enhancement requests and diagnose incidents to create solutions.
- Develop system and process documentation suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for applications.
- Design, configure, customize, and implement applications to meet business needs.
- Customize, optimize, and identify opportunities to enhance user experience and functionality in existing software systems.
- Maintain, upgrade, and provide support for line-of-business applications, including coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Follow industry best practices in architecture and modeling to produce high-performing solutions that are usable, reliable, maintainable, and secure.
- Coordinate user support, addressing access and operational inquiries related to managed applications.
- Provide user training on various applications, products, and services.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and understanding.
- Understand end-to-end business processes and serve as a subject matter expert for changes impacting supported applications or business partners.
- Cross-train with peers across the application portfolio.
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements to maximize departmental efficiency, leveraging thorough systems knowledge to meet specialized needs.
- Support internal and external audit process activities related to the area of responsibility, ensuring auditors receive necessary data, documentation, and explanations.
- Ability to work across multiple application and support teams.

Education:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Ability to write SQL statements for logic and report creation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Experience with programming languages, database management, or applications within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Experience in creating and delivering training and presentations to peers and upper management both formally and informally.
- Proficiency in Office 365 or Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for communications and presentations, and Excel for analytics including graphs, charting, pivot tables, and basic statistical functions
- 2-4 years of related experience.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of experience as a System Administrator or related role.
- 1-4 years of experience in a management role.
- Proficient in various programming languages, database management, and applications within the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Honorably discharged service veterans preferred.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
- ITILV4 Certification is preferred
