**Job Title: Handy Man**
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Handy Man to join our team. The Handyman is to provide repair and maintenance services to The Zeka Group (Company) Property Management company including troubleshooting of any tenant complaints, building issues, perform maintenance, repairs and turnovers on an as needed basis. Our expectation is for all work to be performed in a professional manner with quality workmanship in a timely manner.
**Expectations include:**
· Provide top notch Customer Service to Zeka Group and tenants
· Perform troubleshoot and evaluate any complaints. Determine if repairs can be performed by Handyman or should be escalated to other professionals.
· Perform repairs and turnovers effectively, in a timely manner and with quality workmanship.
· Carpentry – build basic shelves, repair and replace doors, trim, baseboard etc
· Plumbing including toilets, valves, dishwasher, faucets- leaks and replacement
· Electrical including light fixtures, replacing fixtures, outlets, switches, fans, etc with good industry practice; understanding basic wiring.
· Patch and repair sheetrock
· Painting – interior and exterior;
· Hardware including repair and replace hardware for doors and refrigerators, cabinet pulls, install cabinets etc.
· Contact Tenant for troubleshooting within 24 hrs and coordinate with Tenants to start repair/ job within 48 hrs of initial call.
· Communicate and update with Company using emails, txt and/or computer. Work closely with Company property mgr and maintenance coordinator for work order update and progress status report on a daily or regular basis.
· Provide description of work performed, hours taken, material cost etc, using electronic device or paper.
· Pick up parts etc at vendors;
· Can be on call 24/7. Expect to respond to emergencies within 1 hour.
· Maintain and organize building storage rooms upon request
**Qualifications:**
· 10 yrs. min experience in handyman skills
· Can safely haul or carry at least 50 lbs
· Team player
· Written and oral communications skills
· Organized and able to batch small jobs on your own
· Honest, reliable and self starter
· Will be available for emergency call 24/7.
· Own your own tools and equipment
· Have own transportation – excessive miles will be reimbursed TBD
· Be available at least 20 hours / week depending on jobs, projects and maintenance needs. TBD

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.95 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
