**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Party / Event Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning and strong administrative office assistant skills. You will be asisiting the company owner who runs 2 different businesses; a busy restaurant and a private event business. Booking private events, administrative responsibilites, Social Media Management, Quickbooks experience a plus. If you have a passion for events and the hospitality field we want to hear from you.
Candidate to come to restaurant office in Encino one time per week and to office at concert venue in Whittier one time per week. Flexible schedule.
**Responsibilities:**
- Plan and execute events such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful events
- Develop and manage event budgets
- Provide excellent customer service to clients throughout the planning process
- Oversee event logistics including catering, decorations, entertainment, and guest services
- Market events effectively to attract attendees
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in event planning or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in budget management
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and trends
