We are a mental health group private practice that provides counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples and families. Position Summary: The Patient & Office Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient care, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with patients, clients, and other providers to keep everyone informed. Completing tasks and duties to support the team at 2 different locations.

Schedule appointments for patients
Assist patients with completing paperwork
Coordinate referrals with other healthcare providers
Provide patient education
Process patient payments
Assist to maintain patient records
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

- Education/Experience: Bachelor degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Ability: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Mathematical Ability: Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: Google Suite knowledge preferred as well as medical scheduling software.

The Patient Coordinator will be primarily remote with potential need to come into the office 1 day a week in a professional office setting. The work environment is generally quiet to moderate.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
at a time. Will be required to use hands to finger, handle or feel as well as reach with hands or arms most of the time.
