Responsibilities
- Design and configure complex building automation systems including integration to other low voltage systems.
- Selects hardware, transducers and other components required to interface with controlled equipment.
- Provides detailed information to communicate design intent to customers and subcontractors including flow diagrams, point to point wiring diagrams, riser diagrams, IO summaries, sequences of operation, equipment schedules, and product data sheets.
- Completes project layout based on proposal, specifications and discussion with sales engineers and project engineers.
- Coordinates field changes from the project team to create as-built drawings.
- Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for systems operation.
- Participates in meetings with consulting engineers and project owners to resolve conflicts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) years’ experience in the design of HVAC Control Systems preferred.
- Ability to read & interpret mechanical and electrical floor plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze control system drawings and schedules a plus.
- AutoCAD software knowledge, a plus.
- Schneider Electric/Andover Controls product knowledge, a plus.
