Position Summary
We are in search of an avionics technician to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for the evaluation of aircraft systems, repairs, and modifications to ensure that aircraft safety is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various makes and models of general aviation avionics.
- Complete all work and required sign-offs in accordance with applicable FAA regulations.
- Release aircraft back to service after maintenance and/or inspections.
- Identify and report any unusual malfunctions to Inspector.
- Properly perform all assigned inspections and document findings on the required forms used by the repair station.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- One or more years of experience with aircraft electrical repair and relevant manuals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- A&P a plus but not required
- Experience with navigation systems, Garmin a plus
- Experience with pitot/static checks
- Previous experience working on jets is a plus

$25-$45 per hour depending on experience and/or certification

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sellersburg, IN 47172: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Avionics: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred)
