Job Description
Under the general direction of the Supply Chain Manager and Director, directly supervises the execution of a coordinated lean supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the needs of the clinical areas within OSUWMC. Supervises the daily transaction of the Distribution and Logistics operations by managing the order, receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, correspondence and equipment. Maintains processes and workflows to ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplies and equipment to units throughout the Health System. Manage various employees within Distribution and Logistics Team including staff covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreements. Evaluates and counsels staff in job performance via the P3 tool. Maintains positive relationship with vendors, business unit staff, and other internal departments. Conducts periodic performance reviews of staff. Acts as the frontline problem solver and is considered a technical expert with regard to supply chain operations.
- Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field and 3 years of hospital inventory management or similar experience.
