Responsibilities:
-Read blueprints, shop drawings, customer specifications and Inspection & Test Plans.
- Fabricate and weld metal components according, shop drawings, ITPs, and blueprints (For Example: Bevel and fit nozzles, cylinders, heads, and structural components.)
- Perform quality checks on finished products using proper measuring instruments
- Collaborate with team members, including CAD designers, to ensure efficient production processes
- Operate and maintain various fabrication and measuring tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to codes and standards for welding and fabrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fitter, fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) .
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Advanced math skills for measurements and calculations
- Advanced Reading and Comprehension Skills.
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to welding and fabrication
- Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
