A CNC Machinist Level III is responsible for operating and safely controlling various machines and equipment involved to aid in the production process. Responsibilities include setup and programming of CNC Machine for both Lathe and Mill Operations. Proving out first setup and inspecting first production parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Coordinates production schedule in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
· Knowledge of Feature CAM is a plus but not a requirement.
· Promptly addresses and resolves production issues to minimize delays in production.
· Finding ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
· Executes and manages the production schedule to support production operations.
· Responsible for set up and programming of CNC machine.
· Actively engages with peers & management in the creation of positive workplace culture.
· Supports and enforces company safety policies ensuring safety is seen as a priority among all team members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· 2-3 years of production planning experience in an industrial environment.
· 5+ years of CNC machining experience
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
· Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and applicable federal, state, local, safety requirements.
