Job Overview:
The Warehouse Lead unpacks, picks and packs, sorts and palletizes equipment. Assists in the shipping, receiving and put-away of equipment which may require the use of computers, emails, scanners, forklifts, and other material handling equipment. Assists in the inventory control of disposal assets. Assists in the testing and cleaning of Electronics to ensure 100% quality before shipment. Assists in the reconciliation of equipment by serial number, unique identifier, and or by count.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately pick and scan product into warehouse management system
- Accurately receive and put-away product into warehouse management system
- Accurately unpack and sort equipment for other departments
- Accurately palletize, quality check or reconcile, and put-away product into location and warehouse management system
- Accurately clean, re-evaluate, and test electronics to 100% quality before shipment; this may include the use of numerous software systems and multiple pieces of hardware
- Accurately palletize and reconcile disposal equipment before shipment.
- Accurately reconcile and identify variances on inbound shipment by means of serial number, unique identifier, and or by count of equipment type.
- Accurately reconcile and identify variances and shrink within pallets and outbound shipments by means or count and unique Sage identifier.
- Assist Distribution/Inventory Supervisor, Production/Operations Supervisor, other Leads, and General Manger to ensure daily company objectives and goals are accomplished
- Load and unload trucks for receival and shipment of product
- Identify and label equipment and pallets accurately for inventory, inbound location movement, and outbound shipment
- Verifies paperwork, matches shipment; verifies shipment weight and count.
- Maintains work area organization, housekeeping and flow.
- Ensures work areas are properly labeled, with appropriate signage, aisleways taped and product bins in designated locations.
- Identify and acknowledge Bills of Lading
- Work to accomplish and maintain 100% Quality in all areas
- Work to accomplish and maintain 98% or higher SLA standards on Outbound Shipments
- Work with minimal supervision
- Complete daily duties within the assigned time limits for specified tasks
- Flexibly perform work in multiple areas based on business need
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
