Our design team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Landscape Designer to join our Landscape Design/Build firm located in the DFW metro area.
We are seeking a talented Landscape Designer/Architect who shares our passion for creating unique garden spaces and possesses experience in landscape construction, a good knowledge of horticulture, and a confident design sense.
This role will focus on creating unique and sophisticated gardens and oversee all phases of the design process. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
The Landscape Designer will prepare sketches, preliminary and full plans, specifications, and construction documents as needed. They will also support the sales and marketing efforts, have outstanding verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, possess a positive attitude and have a passion for gardens and design.

Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:-
Prepare illustrative presentations and project deliverables.

Develop material and imagery boards.

Produce AutoCAD construction drawings and details.

Provide cut sheets and take-offs to the estimator for cost estimation.

Perform pre-design site visits to verify existing field measurements and site conditions.

Develop punch lists during and after construction for design intent and project close-out.

Build personal knowledge in areas needed to improve skill set – horticulture, design, estimating, hardscape & planting installation, consultative sales skills, service skills, communication, time management, etc.
Qualifications:-
BLA/MLA from an accredited Landscape Architecture program or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in residential landscape design, with a willingness to learn.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, Bluebeam, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Suite.

An understanding of horticulture and ornamental plants. Knowledge of plant material suitable for the climate and soils of North Texas is a plus.

Proficiency in grading and drainage.

Strong graphic skills, including hand and computer-generated color renderings, details, etc.

Familiarity with industry practices and terminology.

Good written and verbal communication.

Valid Driver’s License & clean insurance record.

Willingness to learn and collaborate with a team.
