Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to solder, weld, and perform tire service
- Familiarity with computerized systems for diagnostics and repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
