NOW HIRING: Mobile Health Clinician (Registered Nurse)
Location: Muskegon, MI, and statewide
Rate: $50/hour
Job Description:
As a Mobile Health Clinician with DocGo in Michigan, you will provide vital healthcare services, including monitoring, assessment, and directed treatment for both adult and pediatric patients with common to complex injuries and illnesses, conducting daily visits to patients' homes, engaging in assessments and treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to address healthcare access barriers, meticulously maintaining patient medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and DocGo standards through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system, all while practicing under the guidance of APPs with synchronous telemedicine support to ensure the highest quality care delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN
- Active and current American Heart Association BLS Required / ACLS certification
- Active and current driver's license for 2 years or more
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Michigan
- Experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice, or other relevant areas (preferred)
- Clinical work experience with pediatrics (preferred)
- Successful completion of third-party Phlebotomy training if hired
Schedule: Variable Days: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Responsibilities:
As a Mobile Health Clinician with DocGo, you will:
- Drive to patients’ homes to provide care and monitoring
- Perform assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing healthcare access barriers
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system
- Practice under direction with synchronous telemedicine support
- Act as a conduit for medical treatment and management of health, well-being, medication, and goals of care
- Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnoses
- Participate in continuing education as required by state regulations and DocGo training
- Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
- Deliver care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
