Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology (IT) Program Analyst to support U.S. Navy’s Team Submarine at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with very good IT program and communication skills to further enhance the success of Team Submarine. We are seeking candidates to provide the US Navy with excellent information technology customer service support.
Responsibilities:
- Support to the Team Sub ACIO in administering NMCI program requirements, basic customer service functions, and ensuring that program office personnel are able to obtain unclassified and classified network access.
- Administer and support daily operational requirements of computer network systems, including workstation provisioning, IT help desk support and interfacing IT systems
- Support the acquisition, inventory, issuance and end-user set-up for DoD Mobility Classified Capability-Secure (DMCC-S) devices and services.
- Review requests for provisioning information technology and telecommunication services and equipment for supporting staff; provide support to provide approved requests.
- Provide support for Data Calls received from NAVSEA CIO, Team Sub ACIO and other organizations as they relate to operations and support.
- Represent ACIO in meetings with DISA, CIO, NMCI, and Customers.
- Maintain knowledge of and cognizance of updates/changes/cancellations/replacements of DoD, DISA, OPNAV, CJSI, etc. instructions and guidance.
- Asset/Inventory Management
- Establish and maintain records of all Enterprise data and equipment.
- Conduct and assist with annual Review and Revalidation (R&R) of all IT equipment (as required).
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or IT Systems
- Four years of professional work experience
- Minimum one year of IT experience (three years preferred)
- Experience delivering high quality customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills for both technical and business-related matters.
- Strong communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance
Education and Experience (Preferred):
- Knowledge of NAVSEA / Navy organization, stakeholders, and policies.
- Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience.
