Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a passion for improving clients' speech and language abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals.
- Provide speech therapy services to patients with diverse needs, including but not limited to language delays, articulation disorders, fluency issues, and cognitive communication impairments.
- Utilize standardized testing tools to assess speech and language abilities accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
- Stay current with advances in speech therapy techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school, clinic, or pediatric settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
