Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled HRIS Analyst for a remote, temp-to-hire position based in Houston, TX. The HRIS Analyst will focus on ensuring the quality and consistency of Workday data, specifically within the recruiting module. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide Tier 2 support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for Workday recruiting, serving as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research and address data integrity issues and errors, ensuring a high level of data accuracy.
- Act as a functional liaison between the Talent Acquisition and IT teams, assisting with project tasks such as requirements gathering, design validation, and end-user/system testing.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to perform enterprise mass uploads (EIBs), including template validation, handling data errors, preparing audit reports, and alerting TA of discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance requirements, analyze and correct errors, and ensure proper quality controls to avoid future errors.
- Collaborate with functional HR leaders to prioritize business needs and drive process improvements leveraging Workday HCM technology.
- Create and maintain user documentation, including training materials and communication of process changes.
- Run, schedule, and distribute reports to support the assigned functional area, automating processes wherever possible.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent education/experience/training.
- Specialization in the Workday Recruiting module required; Onboarding expertise is strongly desired.
- Minimum of 2 years of business process and analytical experience in Workday Recruiting and other HR systems.
- Functional knowledge of various HR workstreams (Recruiting, Compensation, HR data, Talent, etc.) and their integration.
- Experience in an HR Service Delivery model with shared services is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and applications.

- Strong understanding of the Workday Recruiting module and related processes.
