We are looking for a highly skilled Veterinary Customer Service Representative with experience to join our growing team! Veterinary hospital setting experience is required. Qualified applicants will be dependable, personable, and have excellent communication skills. Primary responsibilities include direct client attention, handling medical records promptly and accurately, and providing stellar customer service and compassionate care to each and every client and patient that comes through our doors!
Duties will include but may not be limited to keeping accurate medical records, clerical work, and client education, promotion of hospital products and services and team support of The Medical Director, The Hospital Administrator, The Head CSR and all other team members. This position requires practical knowledge of hospital procedures, policies and services; client and patient treatment protocols; data transcribing and word processing; and the standard procedures, records and terminology used in the veterinary hospital.
By assisting the clients, doctors and technicians, we can maintain the high standard of care for our patients, which is of extreme importance. By educating our clients, we can give them the opportunity to provide optimum care for the life of their pet. Serving the clients beyond their expectations with our animal care, customer service, and hospital cleanliness will enable us to forge strong bonds with our clients and their pets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training in a veterinary hospital setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, type and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work well under pressure, change gears often, follow direction and multi-task.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
