A unique remote work opportunity, this role provides the chance to serve patients by performing quality assurance audits and other analytics on the work outputs from our clinical team. As a leader of the care team interacting with leadership and allied health professionals, this position will provide valuable feedback on best practices while participating in the cardiology care continuum.
Design CIED personnel audit processes that meet our standards for quality
Establish and refine KPIs to report to leadership
Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure adherence to established protocols
Identify, track and report process discrepancies and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them
Constantly improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure delivery of high-quality services to the clients
Ensure that services meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations
Work with other teams, including engagement, management and customer support, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers
Interact and work closely with CIED clinical team members
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for care delivery
May be required to perform other duties as assigned
Weekend and/or holiday on-call rotation as needed
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
IBHRE certified (CCDS or CDRMS) preferred (or ability to obtain CCDS or CDRMS within one year of hire); CRAT required if not IBHRE certified
5+ years of experience in CIED management, preferably in a clinical setting
Demonstrable experience with process and personnel auditing, both manual and automated
Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and CIED clinical best practices.
Quick problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable communicating with management, cross-functional teams, and other clinicians.
Strong personal and professional judgement
Capable of working independently and demonstrates self-motivation
Excellent documentation skills
