Stone Mountain Properties is looking to add a Make-Ready Technician to our multi-family community management team. Make Ready Technicians are primarily responsible for ensuring recently vacated units are thoroughly restored and repaired promptly for new resident move-ins.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspects all sheetrock damage and repair or replace as needed; prior sheetrock experience is required.

Ensures vacated units meet Stone Mountain Management quality standards for re-leasing.

Inspect the condition of all units before starting repairs to include, but not limited to; walls, appliances, electrical (outlets, lights, ceiling fans, etc.) plumbing fixtures, safety equipment (smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, etc.), window treatments, windows/doors, flooring, air ducts, and air filters.

Ensures all needed repairs and improvements to apartment units before residents move-in by following the community's make-ready checklist.

Informs Maintenance Supervisor of any repairs requiring 3rd party or outside vendors for scheduling.

Checks all appliances' are properly functioning and informs the Maintenance Supervisor of any repairs, replacements, or parts needed.

Assists with trash-out of apartment units

Ensures that apartment units have been properly caulked and sealed around the windows, sink areas, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.

Performs touch-up paint for vacant and occupied units as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and On-Call emergency maintenance, may be required

Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs

Other skills: Light Carpentry required, Light Electrical/Plumbing Preferred
