-Program Director
- Responsibilities: Create programs that require minimal funding and can potentially be conducted remotely. Develop innovative initiatives to enhance support for Veterans, Service Members, and First Responders.
- Additional Information: This role involves strategic planning, program development, and fostering community engagement to meet the unique needs of our beneficiaries.
-Data Collector
- Responsibilities: Collect information on local businesses supporting Veterans, focusing on areas like Substance Abuse, Mental Health, and Homelessness. Input data into Google Sheets/Excel to aid in resource mapping and community outreach.
- Additional Information: This position plays a crucial role in enhancing our database to better serve our beneficiaries and strengthen community partnerships.
-Active Body Volunteers in Virginia and South Carolina
- Responsibilities: Engage in hands-on activities to support local initiatives and events. Help organize and execute programs that benefit Veterans, Service Members, and First Responders in the regions.
- Additional Information: This role offers a direct way to make a positive impact through community involvement and service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Passion for nonprofit work and making a positive impact in the community
- Previous experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus but not required
