Outside Sales Representative (60% out of office)
Up to $80,000 to start plus bonuses, commissions and full benefits
Mondays and Thursdays are in Office
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are on-the-road (local) for meetings and other business development activities
As Outside Sales Representative, you will:
- Join a manufacturer of industrial filtration systems for industry
- Receive industry-specific training
- Report to the Sales Manager
- Learn to manage the Downtown Chicago Territory
- Support new and existing clients
- Utilize warm and cold needs
- Identify and qualify new business development opportunities
- Identify key decision makers
- Arrange and schedule meetings with both new and existing clients
- Attend meetings and deliver presentations
- Answer questions and address inquiries
- Provide information on product details, pricing, availability and lead times
- Create price quotes
- Negotiate and close new business
- Enter and process orders
- Update customer account information
- Provide post-sale support
- Perform vendor management functions
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 1 year of Sales or Business Development experience
- Experience with ANY CRM
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pluses:
- +++ Related experience with Industrial Products
- +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
