We are seeking highly motivated Murex Senior Back Office Accounting Consultant based in the U.S to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s Murex projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Work hands-on with Murex on accounting configuration and testing to meet business requirements.

Work on accounting for trade and position configuration

Accounting configuration: Rules, Filters etc.

Provide liquidation module support

Translating these requirements into appropriate solutions

Update documentation covering functional / technical aspects of Murex platforms and business processes

Assist on the testing approach and design of test cases.

Training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.

Minimum of 5 years of Murex Accounting / Finance experience in the capital markets industry

Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Finance, Business or Accounting

Knowledge of accounting standards for treasury products

Experience in designing, implementing and challenging accounting schemas for bonds, swaps and other derivatives, as well as other financial instruments.

Hands-on in effective yield amortizations for various type of bonds including floaters (term and RFR), inflations linked as well as other structured products

Exposure to complete trade life cycle

Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in clear, logical and concise manner

Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills
