Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the required quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling food and operating kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Assist with menu planning and development of new pizza recipes
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the food industry, preferably as a pizza cook or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
