Job Summary:
Perform assigned maintenance work to ensure the Credit Union offices and buildings are maintained to the highest possible standard. Respond to 24/7 emergencies as required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Performs assigned maintenance work, including preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and urgent work assignments. This will include but not be limited to, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, general mechanical repairs, carpentry work, etc.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and performs routine electrical work such as changing lamps and ballasts, fixtures, switches, etc.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and performs routine HVAC work such as system checks, change belts and filters, etc.
- Performs a variety of routine services and repair operations to the facility itself, common equipment, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Performs all facilities functions in accordance with NEC, NFPA and OSHA regulations and local city codes.
- Possesses an extreme sense of urgency in ensuring production and support equipment remain operational.
- Prioritizes jobs and handles multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Provides the highest level of internal service and support and find the best solutions in resolving day to day problems and issues presented by employees, members, and vendors, etc.
- Responsible for service vehicle and provide support with company fleet vehicles.
- Maintains ServiceNow ticket system. Update assigned tickets daily.
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Assist team members with room set up, special functions and events.
- All Firstmark Credit Union personnel are expected to exhibit High Five values daily.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 to 5 years previous experience in building maintenance. HVAC certification required. Texas electrician license or San Antonio electrical maintenance technician registration preferred. Plumber certification a plus.
- Must always project a professional appearance and attitude.
- Must communicate with co-workers and Members with professionalism and respect.
- Must exhibit excellent ethical attributes.
- Proficient with various hand and power tools.
- Possession of a valid Texas driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
- Familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Computerized Building Automation software.
Other Information:
- Basic schedule is Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must be able to work occasional overtime and/or off shift hours when required. Respond to emergency calls 24/7.
- Must be able to travel to Firstmark financial centers across San Antonio & outlying areas daily.
- At times may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather, perform roof top work, and work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.03 - $22.48 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
