Main Duties:
- Managing rigging crews of 1-5 employees
- Operating forklifts and rigging specialty equipment.
- Laying out floor plans for equipment to be installed.
- Installing/removing/relocating factory production equipment.
- Leveling/aligning machinery.
- Driving either CDL Class A semi to transport equipment to/from job site, or non-CDL tool truck loaded with tooling.
- Filling out all required paperwork for the job performed.
A normal day entails traveling to the customer facility with the semi, tool truck, and the crew, installing/removing/relocating the customer’s equipment, then loading everything up and returning to the shop to unload everything.
Some days require additional onsite work that may include leveling, aligning, layout, working with other trades, or demolition. There is potential for more overtime for those willing to work weekends.
There is some out of state travel for those who want to participate. We do roughly 10 overnights a year out of state total for the entire company, and those usually only require 2-3 employees to perform.
