Department supervisor will motivate their team, provide guidance, and delegate tasks, which requires strong leadership skills
Train and provide guidance to Coil, packaging and ecommerce department employees.
Prioritize work assignments on a daily and weekly basis.
Ensure all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards and specifications.
Supervise group to ensure that everyone stays productive and follows instructions.
Should have a personal commitment to getting tasks completed and a hands-on approach.
They should possess excellent communication skills.
The department supervisor is expected to work overtime when needed.
Prepare, maintain and submit a variety of reports related to room department operations. (production sheets, pallet weights, etc..)
Conduct forklift training and certification exam when required
Provide a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visitors.
Maintain FIFO inventory in all Pex department areas of the warehouse.
Maintain most effective use of space for Pex product. (working with Space Utilization Plan)
Perform accurate inventory and cycle counts of Pex product when required.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory experience in a retail setting
- Proficiency in inventory management and control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Knowledge of purchasing processes and inventory control
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on retail sales
- Familiarity with team management and employee orientation
- Multilingual or bilingual skills a plus
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
