Position Overview
As the Fixed Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing your department, while optimizing processes so that we can capitalize on the amount of business coming to our dealership. In this role, you will be tasked with coaching, developing, and leading your team of Service Advisors, and Technicians, along with your Drive Manager, to help our dealership grow our business while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and play a critical role in helping to move-the-needle of our Fixed Operations performance by driving operational efficiency, enhancing the customer purchase experience, and maximizing revenue opportunities while managing expenses.
Who will I report to?
You will report to the General Manager of your respective dealership.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive dealership operations experience, preferably working as a Service Manager or Fixed Operations Director. Service Advisor experience is a plus.
- Fluency in CDK, ability to write op codes, electronic multipoint utilization, and a proven track record of delivering CSI ahead of OEM benchmarks.
- Understanding of dispatch processes, electronic MPI tools, declined services, and DMS reporting,
- Understanding of OEM warranty claim requirements, and manufacture KPIs.
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills when working with customers, team members, and automotive colleagues.
- Competitive and self-motivated attitude with eagerness to improve.
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office, CDK, etc.
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic.
- Valid, current Driver's License with an acceptable MVR that meets requirements for insurability.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background, credit check, and drug screen.
Compensation: $225,000 - $250,000+ per year
