We are looking for a Control Systems Specialist with a BT or BS in Mechatronics or in Electrical Engineering Technology to join our Film Finishing team in Rochester, NY. This position requires working with various personnel for the troubleshooting and repair of the integrated computer systems/equipment used in our Finishing manufacturing facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and process control systems.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance to understand the business needs and priorities.
- Provide full life cycle support of control systems in our film Finishing area, including developing requirements, programming support, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Support upgrade projects to replace existing PLC based control systems.
- Work with maintenance to develop data-driven reliability improvement opportunities, as well as troubleshoot system hardware to resolve malfunctions and assist in system upgrades and improvements.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Tech. (Mechatronics) or Electrical Engineering Tech.
- Ability to configure, document, and troubleshoot control systems
- Ability to work with CAD drawings and interpret production documentation
- Must be a motivated, hands-on, self-starter
- Must possess strong communication skills
- Ability to work alongside operations, skilled trades, engineers, contractors, technicians, etc.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to shift priorities based on production needs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include low light areas

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
