AGParts is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk. This position focuses on the receipt, verification and processing of inventory product received from outside vendors. Our objective is to hire, train and retain!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Plan for and prioritize daily shipments, giving extra attention to back-ordered product.
- Receive, process and warehouse incoming product following AGParts SOPs.
- Verify that quantities received match information on packing slip and purchase order.
- Identify and report any shipment discrepancies during Receiving Process to Supervisor.
- Inspect shipments for damage or defects and document discrepancies.
- Physically inspect items received for accuracy and authenticity using web, internal sites, descriptions, or purchasing resources.
- Oversee proper flow of items through processes such as Testing and Vendor Return.
- Document flow of parts for any necessary future inquiry.
- Unload inbound delivery trucks and stage items organized and safe manner.
- Communicate deliveries for employees and departments and alert them of items at the dock.
- Maintain daily freight logs.
- Respond to emails regarding status of current and incoming shipments.
- Communicate with Purchasing to have updates or corrections made to POs from Purchasing department.
- Research items that cannot be found for orders for picking team. Solve issues by locating the item or editing system to match physical count.
- Document all transactions as directed by management.
- Record and file all documentation for Operations or Accounting departments.
- Perform quantity or cost adjustments to stock per SOP.
- Assist in maintaining recycling area for Receiving and nearby areas.
- Ability to positively adapt to changing processes, schedules and policies/standards as different business, department, personnel needs change as the Division continues to grow and evolve.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by Managers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and WMS concepts
Excellent mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
Experience with report writing database tools a definite plus
Proven problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently
Ability to learn current inventory systems: CYMA, Partmaster and other software proprietary to AGI as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
