Bridge Automation has an opportunity for an experienced AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of machine learning model lifecycles, including data cleaning, model training, and deployments. Additionally, you should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth.
Objectives of this Role
- Contribute a unique perspective and creative approach to solving problems
- Stay up to date with advancements in machine learning and develop related skills
- Under the mentorship and guidance of Bridge Automation engineering team, produce high-quality software that is tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration
- Solve difficult problems with machine learning, write code to put those solutions into production or inform business decision making, and deliver with an appropriate amount of urgency and quality
- Develop machine learning that will serve industrial client applications
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Work closely with project managers to develop pipelines for data processing, analysis, build models and exploration
- Implement different machine learning and deep learning models based on the needs of the projects, such as anomaly detection and visual inspection models
- Define and implement data, image processing, and integration pipelines
- Design, develop and continuously optimize machine learning algorithms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Measure various industrial data and identify different types of methodology for data inspection
- Provide rapid and accurate assessments for machine learning models
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics
- Experience with Python and machine learning related libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with deployment strategies in cloud and on-premises such as PLCs
- Demonstrated history of independent problem solving, data-driven thinking, and quantitative skills, Data Science or Machine Learning-related related projects
- Proven success in a collaborative, agile environment, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of CS basic concepts: variables, recursion, algorithms, data structures, object orientation, error handling, etc. Knowing what some of these are will make it easier for you to learn more complex software topics.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus
- Solid understanding of common machine learning techniques and the underlying technical concepts
- Ability to clearly articulate your perspective
- Strong collaborative skills
