About the role:
The MIT Training and New Opening Manager is responsible for providing training leadership, working to support organizational goals for retention, talent and developing & facilitating professional development and training programs which align with the Live! culture and mission. The specialist is responsible for establishing a professional, mentor-like connection with team members throughout every stage of their employment, from Onboarding and throughout Training. This position is responsible for incorporating the organization’s values into all aspects of the Employee Life Cycle, and an instrumental person in systematically spreading the Live! culture through training and coaching.
Responsibilities:
- Guide, coach & mentor salaried team members at all levels and job functions to provide opportunities to maximize their potential.
- Guide and inspire new salaried team members to succeed by sharing the story of our culture and history when hosting weekly Orientation.
- Communicate, Schedule and host new salaried employee training. Coordinating timely follow up and direction.
- Maintain and Improve upon the Train the Trainer Program for hourly, departmental training and high potential development.
- Own the new manager’s experience during their first 90 days.
- Build or evolve the proper toolbox for MIT’s.
- Function as the primary MIT liaison between the Training Team, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition & Hiring Managers
- Create robust training toolbox and programs that help develop a knowledgeable and trusted team for new store openings.
- Maintain online Learning & Engagement platforms, specific to MIT & Onboarding.
- Oversee on the job training to ensure the organization’s core values are on display and incorporated, and that training standards and expectations are being maintained and executed at a high level.
- Work with VPs to build and oversee Learning Curriculum, Schedule, and Workshops.
- Serve as an ambassador and champion for all newly hired managers. Working to support quarterly and annual metrics specific to salaried team members tenure and ability.
