About the Position:
As the Community Prevention Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Manage the Anchoarge Alliance for Violence Prevention (AAVP)
- Engage with the community to raise awareness
- Make a positive impact on community lives
- Collaborate with partner agencies and service providers
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the field
Qualifications:
While we value relevant qualifications and experience, we also appreciate dedication, a passion for our mission, and a commitment to making a difference. Our Minimum Qualifications are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Justice, Education, Public Health, or a related field from an accredited institution OR four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in community engagement programs, including one (1) year of presenting in front of an audience.
- Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License
