Chatham Kids Club seeks to find a Program Director to manage the daily operations of its before, after school, and summer camp programs. The Program Director is responsible for overall program operation, maintaining program budget, payroll, marketing and direct oversight of staff in accordance with organization and state licensing standards. In charge of pursuing, researching, and reviewing licensing requirements and ensuring organization is compliant in all areas in accordance to OCFS regulations.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field or New York State Children's Program Administrator credential or School Age Child Care Credential or other OCFS recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period or two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field.
- Two years direct experience working with children under the age of 13 including at least one year in a supervisory capacity in a child care program or related field of work.
- Knowledge of OCFS regulations, MAT Certification, First Aid/CPR training preferred.
