**7am, 7pm, and On Call shifts available!!**
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure patient satisfaction through quality care and effective communication.
- Train and delegate duties to Nursing Care Technicians.
- Adhere to University policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Active RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health care.
- Strong direct patient care and critical thinking skills.
- Basic computer navigation skills and internet proficiency.
- Professional communication skills with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.
- Proactive and motivated, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
