Our organization is seeking an experienced, dynamic therapist to work with our Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program. Our IOP program is designed to provide the tools needed to help individuals achieve a sustained recovery while allowing them to maintain their day-to-day lives. The IOP provides three hours of direct programming every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening.
Primary duties of the therapist include facilitating group therapy, individual therapy, and family education. The therapist will complete required documentation, including various assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Free onsite dinner is provided in order for the clinician to facilitate a therapeutic mealtime with clients each evening.
Routine hours are every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-8:30pm. Monday coverage may be requested, depending upon program needs. The therapist is expected to either directly participate in or contribute relevant information to a treatment team meeting weekly. The total expected time commitment for this position is 8.5-9 hours weekly, with the possibility of up to 13 hours weekly.
Fairwinds Treatment Center is a dually licensed treatment facility, providing care since 1989 to individuals with substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, eating disorders, and mental health diagnoses.
