- This individual would be responsible for assisting of ordering, purchasing, and tracking all the parts we use for repairing customers trucks and cars. They would communicate each day with the Parts Manager, the estimator, shop technician and if needed the shop Foreman to make sure we have parts ordered in a timely fashion, control parts inventory, and keep the parts organized and locatable. Sometimes you might be sent in company vehicles to pickup and/or return parts. The invoices for all purchases need to be coded and assigned a PO and work with the accountant to keep things organized. The right person would have reasonable computer skills as a large number of parts we purchase are completed online. This is a shop environment and daily walks into the shop to understand what is in progress is all part of the position. Having experience in Commerical Truck/tailer and Car parts is a Plus!! This is a very stable position and will need someone to work with passion and urgency in order to be a good fit for this job.
Must have valid Drivers License.
Pay is based on knowledge of parts and experience.
You will be trained fully.
Should be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs (Of course someone will help if too heavy)
Should work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
