- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality screening mammography and provide excellent patient care, promoting privacy and comfort for each patient
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of mammography technology needed to perform each patient's screeningexamination
- Reviews and explains patient questionnaires. Obtains/verifies appropriate medical history for each patient examined
- Has knowledge of Hologic Soenia 3-D/Tomography mammography procedures and equipment
- Develops and evaluates the images obtained for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion
- Performs daily/weekly/monthly QA in accordance with MQSA standards
- Maintains patient audits, reported according to MQSA guidelines
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot
- Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography
- Possess an ability to adapt to various situations and procedures related to individual patient's needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with the radiologist(s) to obtain high quality mammographic studies
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, patients, physicians and management

- Consistent attendance is required to assure that the client facilities' needs and patient needs are met

Qualifications
- Current Registration by the A.R.R.T. in Radiography with additional certification in Mammography RT
- Must meet MQSA guidelines for certification
- Previous radiology technology RT (R) experience
- Prefer a Minimum of three years 3-D/Breast Tomosynthesis Mammography Experience
