Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, working on a variety of projects and using your expertise to fabricate, assemble, and weld components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalworking and welding techniques, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and components using various machining and welding techniques, including FCAW and stick welding.
- Operate cranes and rigging equipment to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
- Perform pipe threading and soldering tasks to connect and seal pipes and fittings.
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Work on construction sites, operating equipment and following safety protocols to minimize the risk of injury or damage.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and achieve high-quality results.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets the required standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in metal fabrication and welding techniques, including FCAW and stick welding.
- Proficiency in machining and pipe threading techniques.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with codes and standards relevant to the construction industry.
- Ability to operate cranes and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience with soldering and other assembly techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.92 - $43.00 per hour
