The Division of Digital Health Innovation within the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies is a multidisciplinary group seeking to apply the best evidence, education, and technology to improve human health. As part of the CCIT team, you will contribute to projects that make direct impacts on patients and healthcare professionals, improving the quality, efficiency, and equity of healthcare delivered at Baylor College of Medicine and across the world.
The temporary Software Engineering and Programming Specialist will assist other CCIT developers in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the Center’s portfolio of web applications and other technical products. This position will take direction from the CCIT Director, the Sr. Manager IT Infrastructure, and senior developers, as assigned. Opportunities to contribute to big data projects, mobile application development, cloud infrastructure development and operations, and clinical technologies are available, depending on developer’s interests. To ensure success, the candidate should possess a willingness to learn from other developers as well as outside resources, accept constructive feedback on work products, and strive to complete projects on time and with attention to detail.
