A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their staff as their new Senior Manager / Director of Client Accounting Services. In this role, the Senior Manager / Director of Client Accounting Services will be responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting services provided and ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of accounting processes while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager / Director of Client Accounting Services will:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their accounting needs and ensuring client satisfaction

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and responsiveness to their inquiries

Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience within Client Accounting Services with a focus on consumer products expertise

In-depth knowledge of Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
