Key Account Manager – Construction

Position Overview: As a Key Account Manager at ProFormance, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our key clients in the construction industry, particularly large nationwide and regional builders. You will serve as the primary point of contact for these clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring the successful delivery of roofing solutions that meet their requirements.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
· Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at large nationwide and regional builders.
· Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and pain points, and align our roofing solutions to meet their specific needs.
· Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Strategic Account Planning:
· Create and implement strategic account plans for key clients to drive business growth and maximize opportunities for collaboration.
· Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional roofing products or services to existing clients.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet clients' requirements.
Project Coordination and Execution:
· Serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of roofing projects from inception to completion.
· Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
· Proactively identify and mitigate any potential risks or obstacles that may impact project success.
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
· Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities in the roofing construction sector.
· Conduct market analysis and research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and emerging trends.
· Utilize competitive intelligence to position our roofing solutions effectively and differentiate ourselves from competitors in the market.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Busines Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field and/or 3 – 5 years of industry/sales management experience.
· Proven track record of success in key account management, preferably within the construction industry or related field.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel up to 75% to meet with clients and attend industry events or conferences.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
