West Virginia Fertility Institute is seeking a CMA/RMA for our Charleston, WV clinic and requires someone with passion for customer/patient care. The candidate will:
Ø Check In Patients:
- Greet Patients in Courteous Manner
- Take Temperature and Record in Log
- Update Demographics – Hand patient the face sheet to look over
- Take Patient Pictures and attach it to the patient's chart in EHR
- Copy Insurance Card / Scan into EHR
- Enter/Update Insurance Information into EHR
- Have Patient Sign HIPAA, Financial Consents, ABN’s
- Take Patient Payments
- Answer Incoming Calls
Make Fee Tickets:
- Circle The Provider's Name / Location
- Print Labels
- Make Appt. Notes on Labels
Make Face Sheets:
- Highlight Patient Name, Address, Phone Number, Email and Insurance Information
- Note If Picture Is Needed In EHR
- Note Any Balance Or Money Due
Call Patients to Confirm Appointment:
- Confirm Date, Time and Location
- Notify Patient Of Any Balance Due At Time of Appt
Record Releases – Print and Fax to Referring Dr.’s and Scan Consent into EHR
Provide Back of clinic CMA support
- Room Patients
- Take Vitals
- Turn Rooms
Keep Lobby Organized and Clean
Support other offices as needed
Candidates must complete the Indeed skills assessment and score proficient or higher to be considered for the position.
