Job Overview:
Wildpack is searching for a motivated, career-minded Finishing Operator. At Wildpack, you get to work with state-of-the-art equipment in our expansive manufacturing facility. Shift Times Available:
Second Shift: 3 PM to 1130 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating industrial equipment: cutter, folder, stringing, plate maker, and other
- Determining whether finished products meet quality standards for customers
- Read job tickets thoroughly and follow process to complete all job attributes
- Work independently with a sense of urgency and purpose
- Recognize when equipment is not working and troubleshoot or escalate the issue
- Follows schedule and direction according to shift supervisor or production manager
- Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
- Keep area clean, organized, and safe

- Mechanical aptitude for manufacturing machinery
- Positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written with ability to communicate with employees and management of all levels
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality of work produced
- Well organized and a self-starter
- Able to work well within a team environment and communicate with your team members
- Must be safety conscious around knives, gears, and pinch points.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common industry, production, and technical documents in English. Ability to communicate with coworkers and managers in English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic and some advanced mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
The performance of this position will require personal interaction with people, materials, instruments and/or machines located on the employer’s premises. Adherence to defined current Good Manufacturing Practices is required.
The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas and may require following procedures that include the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes and/or gloves.
While in the plant environment, one might experience different aromas, warmer or cooler than average temperatures, elevated noise levels, lighting differences and other conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.
