As a Senior Assembly Technician, you will support mechanical assembly, hydraulic and electrical panel and other assembly activities within our Manufacturing division. Senior level experience with Hydraulic Assembly is a REQUIREMENT!

Pay: $25.00+ an hour
Schedule: First Shift //M-F // 8 hours (intermittent OT available)

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in assembling complex mechanical systems.
- Works in a safe, efficient manner following all safety regulations.
- Manages time to complete tasks timely with no defects and minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret ASSEMBLY and ELECTRICAL schematics.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measure.
- Participates constructively with team in continuous improvement efforts.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites as needed for field service.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Responsible for identifying assembly errors.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; reporting malfunctions.
- Quality panel builds.
- Give estimates on panel build times.
- Keep accurate labor records.
- Performs material handling duties, including operating forklift and overhead hoists.
- Maintains clean, safe, and productive work area using 5S principals.
- Miscellaneous duties as directed by team lead or management.
- Utilizes training to provide flexible support in other departments on an as needed basis.
Technical & Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 5 years of related hands-on electrical panel experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solidworks/Draftsight experience preferred but not required.
