Position Description:
The Solar Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for customers and employees to ensure all assigned solar projects are moving efficiently through the project pipeline and within the expected timeframe. This role is responsible for collaborating with the sales, operations, and construction teams on the specific activities required to advance the project to the next stage. The Solar Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to include scheduling, risk management, project documentation, and customer communication.
The Solar Coordinator must have great customer service skills that demonstrate strong communication and collaboration to ensure all assigned projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed the customer's expectations.
Reporting Relationship:
This position reports to the Solar Project Manager
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate project activities, resources, equipment, and information in a kind and informative manner
- Break projects into feasible actions, set timeframes, and facilitate project requirements, while communicating this to the customer
- Assign tasks to internal operation team and maintain the project schedule
- Ensure customer is informed timely, and consistently as the project advances
- Monitor project progress and resolve or escalate any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
- Work with the Solar Project Manager to resolve project delays or bottlenecks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports in CRM
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance auditing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach with timely follow up, while adapting to change on to go
- Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation plans to keep project on schedule
- Facilitate strategic decisions to optimize project implementation and management
- Utilize project management methodologies
Education/Experience Requirements
- Minimum of one year customer service, operations, or project management experience
- Knowledge of solar project management preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
