The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing The Village Dallas's organic social media portfolio. In this role, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for creating content from a variety of sources in a cohesive way and strategically deploying it to grow business awareness and engagement. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager and will collaborate with the entire marketing and operations team around social coverage of the hospitality units, tentpole events, retail stores, residential community, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage The Village Dallas’s social portfolio using creative methods to build audience & community.
- Ability to capture and create social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn (photo, video, etc.)
- Effectively communicate brand tone and voice through social copy.
- Execute The Village Dallas’s organic social media marketing plans based on company marketing strategy, goals, and campaigns.
- Assist in developing and creating digital and social campaigns to drive engagement and business growth.
- Execute real-time social capture to highlight district, venue, and community experiences.
- Manage social listening and community engagement execution.
- Assist in the implementation of The Village Dallas’s social influencer strategy.
- Stay up to date with new platforms, content formats, and practices to keep The Village Dallas’s social channels on-trend.
- Analyze social fanbase behavior to provide recommendations for increased engagement, brand awareness, and continued optimization.
- Assist the marketing team in photoshoot planning and execution.
- Assist in the management of the content library.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience managing a social media portfolio for a hospitality, residential, or entertainment entity.
- Proficient in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok account management.
- Experience using a social media management tool is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Able to communicate in both written and verbal form with conviction and credibility.
- Flexible work schedule to capture and create content across multiple dayparts, weekends, and events.
- Ability to work independently and with teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong work ethic and team-player approach.
- Must be well organized, flexible, and able to adjust to changing needs.
