We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with IDD/special needs. Your primary role will be to ensure the well-being and quality of life of the individuals under your care.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with transportation and community integration activities: You will be responsible for accompanying individuals to recreational activities and community events, ensuring their safety and promoting their independence.
2. Implementing and following an individualized service plan.

4. Assisting with behavioral management and crisis intervention: You will be trained to effectively manage challenging behaviors and provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.
5. Participating in team meetings and trainings: You will actively participate in team meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of individuals' progress, activities, and any incidents or concerns.
7. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations: You will strictly adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure the highest standards of care and compliance.
8. Promoting independence and self-advocacy for individuals: You will empower individuals to make choices and decisions, promoting their independence and self-advocacy skills.
9. Maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights and privacy of individuals: You will maintain strict confidentiality and respect the rights and privacy of individuals at all times.
10. Adhering to ethical standards and professional boundaries: You will uphold ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries in all interactions with individuals and their families.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
- Knowledge of disabilities and special needs (preferred)
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening (required)
