Job Title: Mortgage Loan Originator
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for assisting clients in securing loans for real estate purchases or refinancing. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the mortgage application process and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and goals
- Evaluate loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assist clients in selecting the most suitable mortgage option based on their financial situation
- Communicate effectively with underwriters, loan processors, and clients throughout the loan process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines
- Provide guidance on credit analysis, fair housing regulations, and escrow procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, industry trends, and market conditions
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes and contract terms
- Familiarity with banking procedures and accounting software
- Proficiency in basic math skills and financial sales techniques
- Ability to conduct credit analysis and interpret credit reports
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and escrow procedures
