Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hygiene Manager to oversee and manage the hygiene department in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the hygiene department, compliance with regulations, and exceptional patient care.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the hygiene team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement hygiene department policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate hygiene schedules to optimize patient flow and maximize productivity
- Oversee patient recall system to ensure timely hygiene appointments
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to the hygiene department
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical records management and confidentiality
- Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology
