Position: Network Technician/Installer Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of field technicians/installers.
Lead and mentor onsite apprentices, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Schedule and allocate resources for projects.
Conduct workplace orientations, explain company policies, and manage onboarding activities for field technicians.
Provide training for network technicians/installers.
Perform physical network equipment installations and cabling at client sites, including switches, routers, firewalls, cameras, and cabling.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Offer internal support for GigaKOM.
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
- No criminal record.
- Previous experience in people management.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools.
- Comfortable with ladder work.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Preferred: Physical layer network troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: Experience in copper cable termination.
- 3+ years of experience in low-voltage data cabling (copper and fiber).
- 2+ years of experience in the installation of physical network devices.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

- Reports directly to the Manager of Engineering Field Services.
- Collaborates with Sales Engineers for intra-departmental assistance.
- Provide inter-departmental support to Project Managers.
Performance Assessment Metrics:
- Accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Timely and accurate reporting.
- Timely closure of tickets/tasks.
- Positive feedback from support organizations.
- Positive feedback from within GigaKOM.

- Compensation: Based on experience.
